'Apostasy': Gay 'pride' flag to fly over Toronto Catholic schools

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) voted last night to declare June “Pride Month” and to fly the homosexual rainbow “Pride” flag at all schools within the board for the entire month of June in defiance of Catholic moral teaching that warns against the spiritual dangers of homosexual behavior and in defiance of the local Archbishop’s directives on the matter.
“With this vote, the TCDSB stepped into apostasy. It is no longer Catholic,” Jack Fonseca of Canada’s pro-life and pro-family organization Campaign Life Coalition told LifeSiteNews. ....

Toronto Catholic schools will raise Pride flag next month for first time

Change is coming to the Toronto Catholic District School Board: the Pride flag will fly at all schools this June.
Student Trustee Keith Baybayon says, having it fly, I felt more free. To say that I m more free to be myself. More free to express myself and who I am as a person.
The grade 11 student at Marshall McLuhan Catholic Secondary School identifies as a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community. He says this moment is a symbol of progress.
It means that it s a solidarity between the board and the students and staff, he says.
The vote came after the LGBTQ2S+ advisory committee made three recommendations; that the TCDSB recognize Pride Month in June, that the Pride flag fly at all schools as well as at the board office. ....

Point Brewery to Host Free Block Party

STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A local brewery is hosting a free party next month.
Point Brewery has announced that they will be hosting a free outdoor block party on Saturday, June 12th. The event will run from 3 to 7 p.m. and will feature live music from Stetsin and Lace and will host various local food trucks.
The event does encourage social distancing by asking attendees to bring lawn chairs while they sample a variety of Point Beers, Hardboy Ciders, Whole Hog Brews, and the new Tea Runner Hard Iced Teas. Those who attend are also asked to wear masks at the event when applicable. ....
