UNM National Anthem Auditions Set for August 10
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The University of New Mexico athletic department will host auditions for national anthem singers on Tuesday, Aug. 10 starting at 4 p.m. in The Pit.
National anthem singers will have the opportunity to perform for Lobo basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer. Each singer will have two minutes to perform a traditional version of “The Star-Spangled Banner.
“ Vocalists, groups, and instrumentalists are welcome.
Interested singers must reserve a time slot to audition; there will be no guarantee for walk-ins the day of auditions. Those auditioning are asked to be prompt and ready to sing when they arrive at The Pit. Check in will be at the Northeast corner of the facility near the Lobo Ticket Office. ....
