The BoZone Shane screens new doc examining misinformation May 5, 2021 The hometown premiere of Trust Me, a feature-length, award-winning documentary, will screen at Livingston’s Shane Center early this month. Showings will take place Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm, May 6th–8th, followed by a Sunday matinee at 3:30pm on May 9th. Produced and presented by the Getting Better Foundation and directed by Oscar-nominee, Roko Belic, the film examines the global crisis of misinformation, the malicious players who use it, and what we can do to protect ourselves. “We’re enthused to screen this in Livingston, because we all need to know how to properly consume media,” says Executive Producer Joe Phelps. “Not only what the publishers are doing behind the scenes, but also why we are all so vulnerable to the misinformation and actual addictions associated with today’s media.” ....
