PARKERSBURG Drug sales and a stolen vehicle were among charges from this week’s arrests. On Thursday, law enforcement responded to Ohio River Outdoors on Emerson Avenue following a call about a shoplifting, according to a criminal complaint filed in Wood County Magistrate Court. Shawn Douglas Bowman, 29, 229 Franklin St., Marietta, was arrested after he was found with methamphetamine and fentanyl at the scene, according to the complaint. Bowman and three others were allegedly trying to steal items before realizing they were being watched and put the items back, the complaint said. Law enforcement was notified one of the members of the group used drugs inside the restroom of the business, the complaint said. ....
