JOLIET, IL A 28-year-old Joliet man attacked a woman, threatening to kill her as he choked her, forced her head into a wall and kitchen table in the 300 block of Wheeler Avenue on Wednesday night, according to Joliet police. The woman got away and ran out of the house, flagging down a Joliet police officer patrolling the neighborhood, reports show.
On Thursday,
Anastacio Salazar was charged with aggravated domestic battery, criminal property damage, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, unlawful restraint and assault, according to the Joliet Police Department. ....
