An investigation is underway as police investigate a shots fired complaint from a neighbourhood at the Osoyoos Indian Band.
Oliver RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 6000 block of Sandpoint Road in Oliver on Feb. 7 around 2 a.m.
Police found a number of intoxicated people and seized a firearm from the scene.
A 28-year-old from the residence and a 25-year-old from Penticton, both with minor injuries to their faces, were located by police, but their injuries were determined to be the result of a consensual fight, with no indication of anyone injured from gun shots. ....
