NASSAU, BAHAMAS With a passion for the community and supporting Bahamian youth, Oaktree Medical Center Medical Director Dr Don D Deveaux and General Manager Kristi Deveaux partnered with the iYES Foundation for a sizable donation of $320,000 for the establishment of an indoor 8,500-square-foot, YMCA-style, technology-enhanced learning and sports facility primarily developed for inner-city youths on New Providence. ....

Oaktree Medical Center donates $20K for Jonique E Webb Community Youth Center

NASSAU, BAHAMAS Oaktree Medical Center Medical Director Dr Don D Deveaux and wife, Kristi Deveaux, general manager, have donated $20,000 for the completion of the Jonique E Webb Community Youth Center.
Webb’s family began this year soliciting support for the creation of the youth facility, which will provide a safe haven for young adults to congregate and engage in wholesome, educational and spiritual development.
The center is named after the late Webb, an accountant with big dreams and a bright smile who passed away on January 19, 2020 after an eight-year battle with the autoimmune disease lupus. ....

The Hunts Post was invited along to witness patients at a Huntingdon medical centre receiving their Covid-19 vaccinations.
At the Oak Tree Medical Centre on Tuesday, people aged between 70 and 80 years old and the clinically extremely vulnerable were invited to the centre for their vaccination.
Most people said they were relieved to have received their vaccination and expressed the social activities that they were missing.
Pamela Payne, 76 years-old from Huntingdon, said she felt great after receiving her vaccination: “I think it was great to receive my vaccination today, it didn’t hurt at all and I was very much looking forward to receiving it.” ....
