(KAIT) - The Osceola Police Department is investigating a Friday evening shooting that took place at the local Express Mart. According to OPD, Devontae Davis was arrested in connection to the shooting of Nathaniel Vornes. OPD says around 5:20 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the Express Mart, on the corner of Walnut and Keiser Ave., in regards to a shooting. When officers arrived they found Vornes, who had been shot multiple times. Vornes was taken by ambulance to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition. ....

Tyrone Payne is charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and theft of property $1,000 or less. According to the police affidavit, the mother of the victim called police about 1:45 a.m. January 22nd, saying Payne had kidnapped her daughter, who had recently broken up with him. (KAIT) - NEA Clinic in Osceola met with first responders Thursday to educate them on the COVID-19 vaccine. First responders were feeling apprehensive about the vaccine based on what they have heard from other sources. Healthcare workers informed first responders about the symptoms, such as a sore arm and fatigue. After the meeting, some questions were left unanswered.
