Updated: 9:25 PM EST Feb 12, 2021 A man is accused of forcing his way into his elderly neighbor’s home at gunpoint to steal money and prescription medication.Titusville police say Timothy James Hill, 38, knocked on the victim’s door then forced his way inside after a short conversation.Hill allegedly demanded the victim give him money, but when his neighbor refused Hill bound his hands and ankles with duct tape.Authorities said Hill took money, two cellphones and prescription medication before leaving the area in the victim’s car.Once Hill left the scene, authorities said the victim managed to loosen the duct tape and crawl to a phone to call for help. The victim was able to identify the person who broke into his house as Hill, his neighbor. Hill was taken into custody on Wednesday, near the intersection of Harrison Street and Barna Avenue.
