Apostle Suleman sues Pastor Davids for N5bn over alleged libel

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Ministries has instituted legal actions against a former pastor of his church, Mike Davids, who accused him of sleeping with his wife.
Davids had in a petition to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, last month alleged that Apostle Suleman slept with his wife, Faith Edko, in Uyi Hotel, Auchi, Edo State.
He also alleged that the pastor was threatening his life and denied him access to his three children.
However, Apostle Suleman, through his legal team, led by Osa Director Esq, for Osa Director And Co, is launching a N5bn suit at the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, against David for “conspiracy to blackmail and defamation of character.” ....

This was contained in a Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) circular issued on February 4.
It explained that the suspension followed a breach of guidelines placed by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.
The airline is accused of airlifting passengers from Nigeria, using rapid antigen tests done at laboratories which are not approved by regulatory authorities.
The circular read, “Based on the foregoing and to enable the Nigerian government to put in place the needed infrastructure and logistics for COVID-19 RDT testing for departing passengers, the PTF has directed that Emirates Airlines should either accept passengers without RDT pending when the infrastructure and logistics are put in place or suspend its flights to and from Nigeria until such a time when the required infrastructure and logistics are fully established and implemented. ....

Apostle Suleman slept with my wife, threatening my life - Pastor Davids alleges

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Ministries has been accused of sleeping with the wife of another Pastor, Mike Davids.
Mike Davids, a former pastor of the church, claimed that Suleman slept with his wife Faith Edko, who leads the Abuja branch of the church in Utako.
Pastor Davids also alleged that Apostle Suleman threatened his life and denied him access to his three children.
In a petition sent to the IG of police, Davids said he was ordained a pastor of Omega Fire Ministries on June 9, 2006, by Apostle Suleman and served the church for over 15 years before leaving in 2019.
Davids in a video posted on Instagram said in 2008 Apostle Suleman invited his wife to Reliance Hotel, Benin and made advances at her but he never regarded it as anything serious. ....
