By Philip Bagley Ojai I encourage the Board to reject the “Board Governance Handbook.” The Board should ask why this Handbook necessary at all, particularly given that the Board is already governed by its numerous Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, the Education Code, Government Code, etc. What new requirements or protocols does the Handbook attempt to implement on top of those already in place? And again, why?
