ENGLEWOOD, Colo. The Denver Broncos on Monday announced the hiring of China Jude as Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
In a newly created role for the organization, Jude will work closely with football, business and community leadership on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy. She will also work directly with the human resources and community development departments, focusing on recruitment, hiring processes, overall workplace environment and external outreach.
In addition to leading the organization s overall DEI strategy and representing the team as an external ambassador on social justice initiatives, Jude will guide the team s internal DEI committee as it hosts regular organization-wide programming. She will report directly to Brittany Bowlen, who has been named Senior Vice President of Strategy.

It is no secret why Lee University head baseball coach Mark Brew has stepped in and continued to win games year after year after replacing his mentor and former Lee head coach David Altopp 16 years ago. During Altopp’s final five seasons the Flames won over 40 games each year, including a 55-win season in 2005, when Lee earned a berth in the NAIA College World Series for the first time. Altopp and Brew have a long history together. During his playing days, Brew had a successful four-year career at Trevecca Nazarene University under Coach Altopp. In 1990, Brew was the top hitter for the Trevecca baseball team. He was also the closer for the Trojans for four years.
