Councillor David Sedgwick, Cabinet Member for Citizen Focus and Engagement says: “We put people at the heart of everything we do, which is why we’re passionate about data. We’ve received applications for funding for a wide range of ideas, including those responding to the impact of COVID-19 and others offering wider long-reaching support for the most vulnerable in our borough. We have funded projects that are tackling digital exclusion, offering befriending, providing coaching for the unemployed and addressing mental health. We are supporting projects for victims of domestic abuse, refugees, bereaved families, people with special educational needs or disabilities and young people at risk of being drawn into crime and violence.
