As someone who used to work in the food industry I know how incredibly difficult it is to get a 100% on your health inspection. You not only have to maintain a super clean environment, but it also requires proper labelling, rotation, sanitation, sanitation levels, and safe storage, among other things. One time our catering company got a 100% and that was impressive alone. But One Well Brewing in Kalamazoo announced yesterday that for the FOURTH TIME IN A ROW, they achieved a 100% on their health inspection, stating:

Inspired innovation has always been the norm at One Well Brewing, whether it is in the quirky beers they brew or in the funky pub they’ve built in Kalamazoo. Currently, their creativity has spilled outside into their newly renovated and toasty patio that the brewery has constructed this winter.
Back in March, during the first pandemic shutdown, the brewery “really made the commitment to the staff to keep things going as much as we could,” said One Well owner Chris O’Neill. They’ve been evolving the business ever since. ....

Igloos have been popping up like mushrooms, shanty towns are being constructed, greenhouses are serving new purposes, and even a yurt or two have arrived in Michigan. These are just a few of the examples of how Michigan restauranteurs have been getting creative with outdoor dining spaces.
Restaurants have been shut down for indoor dining for the second time in 2020, this time since December 7. Restrictions will remain on indoor dining until January 15, per the current order from the Michigan Health Department. ....
