GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – Charges have officially been filed, and an arrest warrant has been issued for 17-year-old Dezman Ellis in connection to the fatal shooting at the Fox River Mall on Sunday.
The Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges of 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide and 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety against Ellis. Ellis allegedly shot and killed 19-year-old Jovanni Frausto during an argument near the food court around 3:30 p.m. on January 31st.
“We’re pulling out all the stops. We want this guy,” said Grand Chute Officer Travis Waas. “He’s obviously shown no regard for human life. He made that apparent on Sunday. And we’re going to utilize the resources that we can to locate him and take him into custody before he does something foolish again.”
