While currently wrapping up a season of virtual programming, the Racine Symphony Orchestra is excitedly planning a return to live performances. âWe are cautiously optimistic regarding hosting live audiences,â said Beth Bender, executive director. âOne of the most difficult aspects of the past year was not being able to greet our audience members in-person and we canât wait to see them again,â she continued. However, in spite of their excitement, Bender reminds us the RSO continues to be committed to the safety of the audience and musicians and will continue to act in the best interest of the community. In the meantime, they are keeping busy with numerous virtual offerings to close out the season. ....

The St. Patrickâs Day parade is canceled, but two popular food-supporting fundraisers are still a go â albeit online. Parade For the second year in a row, St. Patrickâs Day will be celebrated without a parade in Racine. Bars and restaurants are planning events to coincide with what is normally one of the City of Racineâs biggest annual celebrations, in part due to the cityâs large Catholic and Irish populations, not to mention a vibrant bar scene. ....
