The Hollies confirm new North Wales date for 60th anniversary tour

ONE of the most iconic bands in British music, The Hollies, has confirmed the new date of its Llandudno gig. The British Invasion rockers were due to perform in autumn this year as part of their their 60th anniversary tour. The new date for the Venue Cymru performance is June 12, 2022, when the band, including original guitarist Tony Hicks and six-decade drummer Bobby Elliot, will perform hits such as He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother, The Air That I Breathe and Long Cool Woman (In A Black Dress). ‘We felt like this is something no other band gets to do, celebrate six decades together, 60 years of this band and these songs means so much to us and so many others,” said Hicks.

English indie pop trio London Grammar returning to New Zealand in 2022

Most recently, their track Hey Now (Arty Remix) was featured on the hit Irish drama television series Normal People. London Grammar’s tour announcement follows a string of international acts postponing concert dates in New Zealand due to Covid-19. Faith No More has rescheduled shows from May 2020 to February next year, while Alanis Morissette will play in New Zealand in November, after postponing her 2020 tour. Backstreet Boys, Rod Stewart, and Simple Minds have also had to rebook New Zealand dates.
