A number of groups have called for the resumption of in-person visits.
Early data has shown a drop in the number of nursing home Covid-19 cases, a trend that has been welcomed by health chiefs.

Wicklow coastal protection works to cost over €145m

A coastal erosion plan commissioned by Irish Rail will cost in the region of €145 million to carry out works along the coastline from Bray to the Murrough in Wicklow town.
Iarnród Éireann commissioned Arup to review the Irish Coastal Protection Strategy Study (ICPSS) and revise and forecast erosion rates for the coastline from Ringsend to Wicklow town. Irish Rail extended the study to Arklow as Wicklow County Council was interested.
Marc Devereux, senior engineer, Environmental Section, provided the elected members with a presentation of the study findings at Monday s meeting of Wicklow County Council.
The plans fit in with Wicklow County Council s Climate Action and the Department of Transport has approved funding for Irish Rail to progress the project from Merrion Gates in Dublin to Wicklow town. ....

Valley Family Health Care continues free COVID testing on Mondays at TVCC

ONTARIO
Free COVID-19 testing will continue each Monday through February near the baseball fields at Treasure Valley Community College. The clinics will be offered by Valley Family Health Care and will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Valley Family is partnering with the collegeâs nursing department to hold the clinics, which will be offered at no cost to anyone age 7 and older, according to information received Sunday from Irene Winters, chief nursing officer. Children younger than 7 will need to see a pediatrician for COVID testing.
Additionally, all Valley Family clinics in both Oregon and Idaho, are now designated as COVID vaccine administration sites, according to Winters. Clinics have started receiving limited shipments of the Moderna vaccine and will begin administering it this week to individuals in the community who fall within the Tier 1 group. ....
