昭觉县特布洛乡资源富集，海拔较高，独特的气候和土壤条件孕育出了一系列类型多样、品质优良、天然绿色的特色农产品。自脱贫攻坚工作开展以来，特布洛乡联合帮扶企业发展起了以畜牧禽类养殖为主的支柱产业，并以“乡党政+龙头企业+专合社+农户+帮扶企业”的经营模式，成立了昭觉县小馋猫食品开发有限公司。
“以前，村民们制作腊肉主要是自己食用，如今腊肉市场越来越火，我们就通过公司将当地的畜牧禽类统一收购、统一加工、统一包装再进行统一销售。”公司生产厂厂长李道贵说道，近年来，为使地方特色农产品发挥最大效益，将资源优势变为经济优势，公司主要从事各类腌腊制品及生鲜肉类的生产销售，从成立以来，公司累计从农户手中购买家禽、家畜800余万元，被当地农户比喻成“农户脱贫的发动机”。
