Burlington, Ia- Burlington celebrated the opening of a new Veterans Clinic on Tuesday.
Many people gathered outside the new Burlington Clinic at 1000 North Roosevelt Avenue for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, followed by tours of the new facility.
Iowa City VA Health System Chief of Staff Dr. Victor Mizrachi says the clinic will help veterans in the Burlington area get the care they need without having to travel.
“This will enable us to cover the area of Burlington, and be able to treat patients so they don’t have to travel long distances to get healthcare,” Dr. Mizrachi said.
The clinic will fully open to patients on Monday, June 7th
