Nottingham ‘specific’ improvement board revealed
A former council chief and an experienced finance director will join chair Sir Tony Redmond on Nottingham City Council’s government-appointed improvement and assurance board, it has been revealed.
Donna Hall, who was chief executive of Wigan MBC from 2012 to 2019 and currently chairs the New Local thinktank and Bolton Foundation Trust, will be the board’s governance lead. Sean Nolan, who has held the most senior finance roles at East Sussex and Buckinghamshire CC and more recently was director of local government and policing at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, will be the finance lead. ....
