Emergency services were called to the incident just off Lunns Rd in Middleton shortly after 12.30pm today. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said four fire trucks and a hazmat unit attended. Advertisement A St John spokesman said five people suffered moderate injuries, but none required hospital treatment. Firefighters contained the spill at about 2.30pm but a cordon around the area was still in place at 3pm. ....

With these figures, Cuba accumulates 180 deaths and 19,122 people infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, since the pandemic broke out in the national territory in March 2020. During his press briefing, Dr. Duran lamented the five deaths and called attention on raising awareness about the severity of Covid-19 and deaths. When explaining the epidemiological situation, the specialist said that 9,775 people have been admitted at medical institutions, 2,909 of whom are suspected cases, 813 are under surveillance and 4,417 are active patients. ....
