Ashland Times Gazette LOUDONVILLE A record turnout estimated at around 700 vehicles packed downtown streets Saturday at the 21st Loudonville Car Show. “We had well over 400 registered with vehicles still coming in,” Valerie Spreng, executive director of the sponsoring Loudonville-Mohican Chamber of Commerce, said about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, “and our guess is that well over 200 cars are here that did not register.” Spreng also said that “cars were parked clear to the fire house on North Market Street, down Wood Street to Bustle Street, in the Budd School parking lot, and filling the parking lot at the Snyder Funeral Home, more today than I can remember ever.” ....

I feel if I don t (delay) it, and I know neither of the defendants want it (delayed) because they re currently in custody, but I feel if I don t there s a risk that they will not have a full and fair trial, Bahr said. Two South Central District murder trials are scheduled to be held in the House chambers of the state Capitol to better allow for social distancing, a possible first for the state. âWe donât have a courtroom large enough to socially distance a jury with four alternates, numerous litigants and the public, so we were forced to look at alternative locations,â Court Administrator Donna Wunderlich said. The Burleigh County trial of Earl Howard, 42, and Nikkisue Entzel, 40, was set to start Monday but a judge granted a continuance on Friday. Howard, of Bellwood, Ontario, in January 2020 was charged with murder and murder conspiracy, arson and arson conspiracy, and evidence tampering in the death of Chad Entzel, 42, of Bismarck. Co-defendant Nikkisue Entzel, 40, Chad Entzel s wife, also was charged with murder conspiracy, arson conspiracy and evidence tampering conspiracy. The murder charge against Howard was later dismissed. ....
