Florida Politics asked the stateâs top consultants, lobbyists and political minds who stands to have the best Legislative Session and 43% picked the Governor. His believers include more than half of Republican Influencers, with just 27% of Democrats saying heâs their early favorite. For the minority party, that honor goes to Senate President Wilton Simpson, albeit by a narrow margin. Three in 10 Democrats say heâll be the clear winner when the hankie drops. Florida man drowns while searching for lost golf ball, authorities say Updated Mar 01, 2021; A 74-year-old man was found dead in a pond on a golf course Sunday and authorities believe he likely fell in while searching for a lost ball. The body of Hermilo Jazmines was found by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office dive team at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. Jazmines was golfing with a friend Sunday morning when he hit his ball in the water on the course’s third hole, the news release says. He was last seen looking for his ball near the water. ....
OLDSMAR â Pinellas County Sheriffâs deputies are investigating the drowning of a 74-year-old Lutz man found dead in a pond Feb. 28 near the East Lake Woodlands County Club. Deputies responded to the East Lake Woodlands subdivision in Oldsmar on a report of a missing man. Investigators say Hermilo Jazmines and a friend were playing golf at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club. Jazmines teed off at hole number three about 7:37 a.m. and was last seen looking for his ball near the green. Jazminesâ golf cart was parked on the cart path and his putter was found lying on the ground near the water. ....
