For more than a decade now, the family’s Hampstead home off U.S. 17 has been a holiday destination for people across the region – and beyond it – as soon they flip the switch on Lake Linda’s Christmas Lights during the week of Thanksgiving. Blanketing their property and circling its man-made lake – named for Mike’s mother – are endless strings of lights, a cast of plastic Christmas characters illuminated from within, a pair of towering color-changing trees, hand-built structures wrapped in bulbs and a photogenic selfie sleigh fit for Santa himself. ....
