Many Victorian tourism businesses have been buoyed by a bumper summer, with accommodation booked solid in coastal towns.
But the looming loss of JobKeeper payments at the end of March, combined with fears the return of international visitors could be delayed until as late as 2023, has some fearing they may still go to the wall.
Summer has been busy at Phillip Island with domestic visitors but many businesses are struggling with the lack of international tourists.
