Ice Cream Float owner Amy McGill drives her floating ice cream boat, the Ice Cream Float, down the Intracoastal Waterway in Pompano Beach. On Saturdays and Sunday McGill s boat is anchored at Exchange Club Park in Lighthouse Point, Hillsboro Inlet Park in Deerfield Beach and Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach.
Amy McGill has only sailed the Pompano Beach waterways for a month but already she’s gotten used to the screams from people standing on their docks: “Ice cream! Ice cream!” ....
