The donation, made during Black History Month and right before the start of this year’s Super Bowl, will help fund discoveries in breast, colon, and prostate cancers. The defensive end’s donation will go to Moffitt’s George Edgecomb Society, which seeks to eliminate cancer health disparities in communities of color. The society is in remembrance of H. Lee Moffitt’s close friend, Black pioneer Judge George Edgecomb, who died of leukemia back in 1976. ....
