There was no shortage of Christmas cheer in Barndarrig village as local children enjoyed a treasure hunt before meeting up with Santa Claus. The event was organised by Hannah Lomax and Esther Maguire of the Barndarrig Development Group. Children taking part in the treasure hunt picked up different clues around the village, while there were also some adult clues to keep the parents entertained. Fortunately, all the children living in and around Barndarrig have been exceptionally behaved this year, with no appearances on the naughty list. As a result, they were able to meet up with Santa Claus so they could pass on their wish-list for this Christmas Day. ....
