S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Has No PS5 Plans for Now Share: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 may have one of the most obnoxious names to type of all time, but a lot of people are looking forward to the first-person sequel. Announced for PC and Xbox Series X|S – this one, allegedly, can’t run on last-gen systems like the PlayStation 4 – many have been pondering whether the title will also release on the PS5. The answer is – well, it’s complicated. Speaking with Gaming Bolt, developer GSC World said that there are “no plans for now”. It went on to explain that it “negotiated the possibilities with Microsoft and saw several good opportunities for the brand” thus it’s “concentrating on the Xbox Series X|S version”. Translation: this is a timed exclusive that will release on PS5 anywhere from six to 12 months after its initial launch. ....
29 April 2021, 09:04 pm In the recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, Insomniac Games released a new gameplay showcase featuring Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and it s got fans raving. According to The Verge, Sony PlayStation revealed 16 minutes of new gameplay footage featuring all of the next-gen goodness that players can expect from the next Ratchet and Clank title. Title character Ratchet was shown traversing a new area, Nefarious City, which was packed with insane levels of detail-without a doubt made possible by the powerful hardware of the PlayStation 5. (Photo : PlayStation.com) Among the new additions involves the PS5 s new DualSense controller, which allowed Insomniac Games to implement a fresh control scheme with the triggers. As stated in the gameplay demo posted on the official PlayStation blog, players can switch between a semi-automatic pistol mode and a full-auto mode by applying lighter or heavier pressure on the triggers. ....
