Enjoy Story Time with your child at Creek Bend Nature Center   Posted4/5/2021 6:22 PM Young children can enjoy some stories, explore the outdoors around Creek Bend Nature Center, and learn how to create beautiful things with nature during the Story Time at Creek Bend Nature Center programs. Staff will provide the materials needed to do the take-and-make craft at home. Each new monthly video will feature a book read by a St. Charles Public Library librarian and introduce a fun craft for you to do at home.   Stop in to Creek Bend Nature Center to see the video on each release date between 10 a.m. and noon and they will provide you with the take-home craft items.

Kane County Animal Control offers drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic April 24 The Kane County Animal Control will offer microchip and rabies vaccine clinics for pets. Daily Herald file photo   Posted4/3/2021 12:36 AM Kane County Animal Control will host its first Rabies and Microchip Animal Clinic of the year on Saturday, April 24. The clinic will be conducted drive-thru style from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kane County Animal Control, 4060 Keslinger Road in Geneva.   Dog and cat owners just pull up in their vehicle and let the staff and volunteers do the work. People do not need to get out of their cars, but are asked to please wear a mask so everyone remains safe and protected.
