OVERALL:
Bledsoe is a versatile player who has lined up deep, in the box and out on the slot in the Missouri defense. A player with shorter-than-average arms and overall length, he can struggle with block destruction in the box. With that said, Bledsoe does perform very well in the run game, triggering quickly downhill to what he sees.
He has very good short-area quickness which allows him to perform well in underneath coverage but struggles in man-to-man coverage due to the lack of athleticism to chase faster receivers. Unfortunately Bledsoe doesn t have the same scheme versatility for NFL teams as he did at Missouri. He will have to find a role on special teams and as a backup.

Alijah Vera-Tucker is the top guard on the board, and while this may be a little early for him, the Panthers have a major need at the position, so securing a true plug-and-play starter to bolster the line would be a wise move.
Vera-Tucker has proven that he can play tackle if needed, while guard is where his ceiling is highest as a refined, technically sound player with scheme versatility. He also has plenty of room to grow considering he turns 22 in June.
Carolina has struggled on the O-line due to a lack of depth and injuries, so Vera-Tucker would not only insulate them against both issues but also dramatically upgrade last year s primary starter at left guard, Chris Reed, whom they let walk in free agency.

The San Francisco 49ers have already bet big on the 2021 NFL draft. They mortgaged multiple first-round picks to move up from No. 12 to No. 3.
The move is to presumably pick a quarterback of the future. The quarterback position is the only one that would be worth giving up that much capital to secure.
With Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson presumably going No. 1 and No. 2, the draft really starts with the Niners at No. 3.
The question of which quarterback they will take is intriguing, but there s added pressure to nail their other early picks. They are also scheduled to be on the clock at No. 43 in Round 2 and have the 102nd selection in Round 3.

Everything about the NFL predraft process will be different this year, including a combine with no in-person workouts and limited contact between teams and prospects in the lead-up to what is expected to be another made-for-TV event.
But March will still be dominated by pro days as teams get a feel for their needs based on how free agency shakes out.
There s obviously still a lot to be determined before the April 29-May 1 event, but with chatter and buzz about to grow significantly, this seems like a good time to check in with an updated mock draft.

College football s only real major upset occurred deep in the night Saturday, and boy, it was a biggie as Florida went down to LSU.
The rest of the weekend went pretty much as expected.
It was a weekend where a couple of nice stories in 2020 were exposed (Colorado and Miami), but another pair continued their storybook years (Coastal Carolina and San Jose State). Finally, history was made that spanned gender and nationality.
There may not have been as many exciting upsets as we re used to, but there were a lot of reasons to love the action that took place in a jam-packed three days of games. There were a lot of cancellations that robbed us of important matchups such as Ohio State-Michigan, Oregon-Washington and others.
