Pulaski Highway reopens following a bomb threat at an Elkton Walmart EW Scripps and last updated 2021-05-26 21:54:32-04 ELKTON, Md. â Elkton Police were investigating a bomb threat at the Walmart in Elkton Wednesday. The store was evacuated and east and west bound route 40 was closed. At around 9:30 p.m., the Cecil County Sheriff said that the incident was over and posed no threat to public safety. Michigan State Police 1st Lt. Brian McComb said at approximately 7:50 a.m. April 3, a passerby found the body of a female in a water filled ditch between Brown and Pobanz roads, on Kilmanagh Road in Brookfield Township. Previously the Tribune reported the family of Christina Klosowski of Elkton was asking for the public s help finding her. Klosowski s daughter said on a social media post that her mother had last been walking in an area near Bach and Brown roads, wearing jeans and a dark jacket. ....

(AP) Police in Maryland say the owners of a Cecil County motel were shot in a dispute over a room rental. Fifty-nine-year-old Ushaben Dilipbhali Patel was shot in the chest and killed Friday night at the New Eastern Motel in Elkton, which she owned with her husband. Elkton Police say the husband, 59-year-old Dilipbhali Ishvarbrai Patel, was shot in the lower torso and was in critical but stable condition Saturday at Christiana Hospital. Police arrested a suspect, 26-year-old Hakeem Markel Evans of Newark, Delaware, a short time later at a nearby convenience store. He was being held Saturday at the Cecil County jail. ....
