DINUBA â Ruiz 4 Kids is helping continued education for current and future college students. A total of 323 California Central Valley students are recipients of a 2021 Ruiz 4 Kids Scholarship.
Two categories of scholarships were distributed: $1,000 for graduating high school seniors and $2,500 for transfer students. Scholarship recipients also receive a generous number of El Monterey product coupons for those quick lunches or late-night study snacks.
This yearâs total of $615,000 sets a new record for the Ruiz 4 Kids Scholarship Program. Last year Ruiz 4 Kids awarded $600,000 in scholarships to high school seniors and college transfer students.

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Ruiz Foods Florence is bringing more jobs to the Pee Dee.
The company plans to hire over 100 new employees as part of its expansion efforts, which were first announced last November, a press release stated.
Applications will be accepted for a number of positions including production supervisors, maintenance technicians, sanitation, machine operators and food production associates, officials said.
Ruiz Foods established a manufacturing facility and distribution warehouse in Florence County in 2014 and began manufacturing product in January 2016, according to the release.
