El Paso artist Tino Ortega s 3D balloon murals are easily recognizable around the city, having become popular spots for selfies and other photos. Ortega unveiled his latest mural, Chuco, on Saturday afternoon at the Chuco Relic T-shirt and souvenir shop at 3750 Gateway Blvd. East in South-Central El Paso with the zoot suit enthusiast group Chuco Pachucos in attendance, along with their lowrider cars. The virtual performance, filmed at CAMH last fall, features five women – Jacquelyne Boe, Kayla Collymore, Rachael Hutto, Lindsey McGill, and Brit Wallis-McGrath – in an exploration of the societal rules women are encouraged to observe.
