Dec 16, 2020 6:09 AM A new initiative designed to get more young people involved in the tech sector will have educational benefits beyond high school students. Yesterday, the provincial government announced the Technology Career Pathway Program through a partnership with the CNA and the English School District. The program will allow high school students to complete post-secondary courses in Python programming, earning them a course credit and a “micro-credential” from the college. While the focus of the program is the students, CNA CEO Elizabeth Kidd says high school teachers will benefit as well because they will be working with college instructers to implement the program. ....
