FG hands over 1.92km rehabilitated internal roads to Law school management

The Federal Government has recently handed over the 1.92km rehabilitated internal road network to the management of the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, while performing the handing over, said the road was part of the 43 road interventions within tertiary institutions across the country aimed at closing infrastructural gaps.
Supreme reports that Fashola was represented at the occasion by the FCT Controller of Works, Mr Yakubu Usman.

FG rehabilitates 29 roads, hands over 17 in 2020

The Federal Government, on Tuesday, said it has completed 29 road intervention projects out of which 17 of them were handed over in 2020.
Also, it announced the construction of 43 road interventions within tertiary institutions across the country.
The Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, made the disclosure at the formal commissioning/handing over of 1.92km internal road rehabilitated by the Ministry in the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
Fashola who spoke through the Ag, FCT Federal Controller of Works, Engr Usman Yakubu disclosed that additional 12 critical interventions are ongoing to support education.
He explained that the road intervention program initiated by his Ministry was an investment in education aimed at improving infrastructures in the education sector ....

The Council of Legal Education has maintained its ban on Law graduates from Houdegbe North American University, Cotonou, the Benin Republic from being admitted into the Nigerian Law School.
A statement by the council secretary, Elizabeth Max-Uba, made available to newsmen on Friday said, the council said after its meeting to consider the appeals of the affected graduates on November 25, 2020, it resolved to sustain the ban imposed in 2015.
According to the council, the university is domiciled in Civil Law jurisdiction yet its law faculty was offering Common Law courses only, and that the subjects of the programme were specifically designated Nigerian. ....
