Middletown police were called to Eli Cannon’s Tap Room, 695 Main St., just before 8:30 p.m. May 4 about an alleged assault where four bar workers were detaining an individual in the adjacent alley, according to a police report. Police said when they arrived, Jesse J. Tomlin, of Berlin, 39, was fighting with three men. Police said they subdued the suspect and placed him in handcuffs. ....
