While the event won’t get you closer to the Iditarod, there were still plenty of fun activities for the entire family. Attendees were able to participate in Snowshoe races, a kickball tournament, as well as tubing and skiing competitions. To many involved, this event couldn’t have come at a better time. “Everyone’s been cooped up inside and things haven’t been quite as normal as they used to be. But people need to get outside, we need to see the community coming together, and that’s what we’re about,” said Erica Culpitt, the Membership Specialist for the Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce. ....
