Multiple agencies battled a structure fire in rural Emerado (ND) on Wednesday.  When members of the Emerado Fire Department arrived on scene they discovered a mobile home in flames as well as several outbuildings… grasslands…and vehicles burning.
Grand Forks Sheriff Andy Schneider says the blaze was located about three miles east of the city.   Schneider says quick action by firefighters kept the blaze from spreading.  “This section is surrounded by CRP tall grass…trailers and modular homes are out there.”
High winds caused the fire to spread quickly.  Crews were able to prevent further damage to surrounding areas.  There were no injuries.  The cause is under investigation. ....
