At least 52 passengers returned positive tests after flight UK6395, operated by Indian airline Vistara, landed in Hong Kong on 4 April . ....
Noida: A non-Covid patient who had breathing trouble died on a stretcher near a government hospital complex in front of his son, who struggled to arrange a bed for him at a private facility. Niazuddin, a resident of Gaur City, was taken to the hospital in Sector 30 in a private ambulance around 11.30am on Sunday. After reaching the facility, his son Ghulam Qutubuddin got a stretcher and tried to take his father, who was in his late fifties, to the emergency block. As barricades had been placed near the area, the security guards asked Qutubuddin to take the patient from another side. When Qutubuddin managed to enter the emergency ward, doctors checked Niazuddin’s report, which mentioned he was not a Covid patient. Doctors then put the man on oxygen support and after a while, they asked Qutubuddin to take him home. ....

The BSESENSEX lost 953.58 points or 1.95% to close at 47,878.45 points while NIFTY lost 276.50 points or 1.89% to close at 14,341.35 points. The broader market saw BSE100, BSE200 and BSE500 lose 1.86%, 1.71% and 1.58% respectively. BSEMIDCAP lost 1.01% wile BSESMALLCAP lost a mere 0.06%.
