JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, July 15: One person died of COVID-19 and 74 tested positive in Jammu today while 129 new infections were reported in Kashmir and four in Ladakh.
A 75-year-old man hailing from Ghat in Doda district with no co-morbidities died of COVID-19 in the Government Medical College (GMC) Doda today taking death toll in Jammu region to 2130 and Doda to 122.
Among 74 new cases in the region, 22 were reported in Reasi district and all of them were travelers who tested positive on their arrival at Katra Railway Station, 16 in Rajouri, 11 Jammu, seven Udhampur, six Kishtwar, five Poonch, three each in Ramban and Doda and one in Samba district. No new cases were recorded in Kathua district. ....

According to the order, only tourists with confirmed pre-bookings of hotels, guesthouses or huts will be allowed to enter the tourist resort.

People travelling in flights, trains and buses from these states will have to produce negative test report before entering Delhi.
Amid a spike in coronavirus infections in some states, the Delhi government is likely to ask travellers from five states, including Maharashtra, Kerala and Punjab, to show negative COVID-19 test report before entering the national capital, officials said on Wednesday. They said an official order will be issued later in the day and it will be effective till March 15.
People travelling in flights, trains and buses from these states will have to produce negative test report before entering Delhi, they said. ....

Britain s government said on Sunday it is looking at requiring all incoming travellers to isolate in hotels, expanding on new coronavirus restrictions entering into force in the coming hours.
