EDMONTON - American receiver Derel Walker is back with the Edmonton Football Team.
Walker returned to Edmonton on Friday. He spent the 2019 season with the Toronto Argonauts.
Walker began his CFL career with Edmonton in 2015 and was the league s top rookie after registering 89 catches for 1,110 yards and six TDs. He helped the franchise win the Grey Cup that season. ....

Critics like the Canadian Taxpayers Federation are missing the mark it’s not city staff who are the problem. They should have the necessary income to support their families and shop at local businesses. They work hard and they should earn living wages. You don’t take out your budget woes on the backs of your most valuable contributors.

The real financial problems are in the revolving door of consulting and contracts that aren’t benefiting our local economy. $120 million spent on consultants per year and 70 per cent of contracts getting change orders should be sounding alarms. Bellefonte, Pa. — The sound of an imitation war whoop echoes throughout Rogers Stadium.
It’s the kind of sound used in old Hollywood westerns, the sound children playing “Cowboys and Indians” might make as they move their hands over their mouths. When Bellefonte high plays Penns Valley in an early October football game, fans let out the cry as the Red Raiders rush onto the field. To the fans it’s just another Friday night, as it has been since 1936. Others in town would definitely not approve.
