INDIANAPOLIS – The final 20 minutes or so of Saturday’s qualifying session for the Indianapolis 500 was a stark reminder of sheer chaos we missed in 2020.
To bookend Scott Dixon’s speedy run that started the day and sat on top for the full 5 hours and 50 minutes of Day 1 to send him into Sunday’s Fast Nine, last-ditch efforts by Sage Karam, Will Power, Charlie Kimball, RC Enerson and Simona de Silvestro left the five drivers on the outside of the field looking in entering Sunday’s Last Row Shootout.
And Dalton Kellett, sitting secure in 30th as the final minutes of Saturday ticked away, risked crashing and joining the group himself. Instead, the A.J. Foyt Racing driver in his first full IndyCar season and without even a mid-field result in his career, secured his precarious spot as chaos all-but boiled over. ....

CHIPPENHAM Town drew 1-1 with rivals Bath City on Boxing Day in a game that featured a red card for either side at the Thornbury Surfacing Stadium.
For the third successive game against the Romans, the Bluebirds scored first, but having gone on to lose the previous two, Mike Cook’s men managed to halt that slide – though Chippenham are now on the club’s longest home run without a win since joining National League South four seasons ago. ....
