A woman was rescued from a house fire Wednesday in Pickens County, according to fire officials there.The fire was reported on Highway 178 near Kay Holcombe Road, officials said.Two passersby saw the flames and stopped, then tried to rescue the woman inside.Liberty Fire Department crews arrived and were able to take over the rescue, getting the woman out of the house, officials said.She was life-flighted to a hospital, but no other information was given.Emergency medical service officials confirmed that one of the passersby was suffering from smoke inhalation, but no other information on their condition was released. ....
