Having just completed the second leg of the all-electric SUV racing series, Extreme E has joined forces with content distribution platform Socialie to enhance the management, distribution and ROI of its social media content.
The Extreme E series hopes to raise awareness of the climate emergency by mixing sport with purpose to inspire change. The stage is now set for the second stop in the Extreme E all electric car racing series from 29-30 May, and to boost reach in the same way as the kick off event, the organisers are again teaming up with leading short video platform TikTok to produce digital live content for the social media platform.

Highlighting said the organisers the appetite for the new sport, the broadcast of the inaugural X Prix in the Extreme E electric vehicle racing series has drawn a cumulative worldwide audience of 18.7 million.

In what may be the largest contract to date for the all-electric off-road racing series, Extreme E has confirmed Sky Germany will broadcast the championship’s X Prix, highlights and magazine shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in both German and English.
With the series, Extreme E aims to highlight the climate emergency that is affecting the whole world. The series will feature electric SUVs competing in extreme environments around the world and is geared towards highlighting the impact of climate change and human interference in some of the most remote parts of the world. It will race in Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Greenland, Brazil and Patagonia, places which have all been affected by the climate crisis.
