Eqtec secures site for waste gasification and power plant following £8.6m land buy | 26 February 2021

StockMarketWire.com - Gasification technology solutions company Eqtec said it had signed a conditional agreement to purchase the land on which the waste gasification and power plant at Haverton Hill UK, would be constructed for £8.6 million.
The purchase was conditional on the development and financing of the project, as well as several other factors including securing offtake and feedstock contracts, and relevant planning and environmental permission for the project.
The acquisition of the project site means we remain on track to deliver the UK s first sustainable waste-to-energy plant using EQTEC s leading advanced gasification technology and solutions, the company said. ....

EQT raises bid for contract drugmaker Recipharm to 232 SEK/share

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Buyout group EQT on Thursday raised its cash offer for contract pharmaceutical maker Recipharm, valuing the Swedish company at 24.9 billion Swedish crowns ($2.97 billion).
EQT raised its bid to 232 crowns per share from the 220 crowns it had offered in December.
“We consider this revised offer to be highly compelling for Recipharm’s shareholders,” EQT partner Erika Henriksson said in a statement.
EQT added that the bid would not be increased further.
Recipharm’s board of directors said in a separate statement they unanimously recommended shareholders and owners of convertible bonds to accept the bid. ....

Sweden's EQT to buy real estate investment firm Exeter for $1.87 billion

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Sweden’s EQT said on Tuesday it had signed a deal to buy global real estate investment manager Exeter Property Group for $1.87 billion as the buyout group reported an almost doubling in net profit for 2020.

EQT said the acquisition fitted well with its plan to expand its real estate operations, particularly in North America where the firm aims to strengthen its position.
Exeter, majority-owned by Ward Fitzgerald and other members of Exeter’s management team, has more than $10 billion of assets under management, EQT said in a statement. ....

Eqtec, ewerGy sign MoU to develop Nobilis' pipeline of waste to energy projects in Greece | 8 January 2021

StockMarketWire.com - Gasification technology company Eqtec said it had together with its German EPC partner ewerGy signed a memorandum of understanding with Greece-based Nobilis Pro Energy, to develop the latter s existing pipeline of opportunities in Thessalia and Central Greece.
Under the agreement, Eqtec would provide the design and core gasification technology and ewerGy will provide EPC services.
|The companies also proposed to deliver further advanced gasification projects, starting with Nobilis Almyros plant.
The collaboration would be underpinned by a joint venture between EQTEC and ewerGy, under which project SPVs would be established for each project opportunity taken forward by the parties. ....
