Siphiwe Lucky Sangweni was born on 27 February 1967 in KwaMashu township, Durban, in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. After he completed his secondary schooling at Igugulabasha High School in Ntuzuma, north of Durban, he went to join the underground revolutionary structures of Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK), and subsequently went to exile and underwent military training in Tanzania where he became an all-rounded trained and qualified officer through formal military training by the Tanzania Peoples Defence Force (TPDF).
On his return to South Africa in 1994, Sangweni integrated to the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) where he was appointed a Platoon Commander in the Republic of South Africa National Peace Keeping Force (NPKF), a position he held for a period of six months until the disbandment of the NPKF. ....

Major General Ntshavheni Peter Maphaha was born on 8 August 1967 in Thohoyandou, Venda, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. After completing his secondary schooling in 1984 at Lwamondo High School in Limpopo, he then enrolled for his tertiary education at the University of Natal (now Nelson Mandela Medical School) where he completed the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBchB) in 1990, which he completed within the prescribed period.
To advance his military career, Maphaha completed a series of military courses, including; the Officers Formative course in 1995, the Medical Battle Handling (Platoon Commander) course in 1996, the Junior Command and Staff course in 2000, the Senior Management Programme (SMP) in 2005, as well as the Joint Senior Command and Staff Programme (JSCSP) in 2006. He further completed the Executive National Security Programme (ENSP) at the SA National Defence Force Colle ....

General Ntshavheni Maphaha visiting the SA National War College.
The Chief Director Military Health Force Preparation, Major General Ntshavheni Maphaha, has paid a visit to the South African National War College and addressed student officers.
He gave an address on 1 April to the Joint Senior Command and Staff Programme 2021 on behalf of the Surgeon General of the South African National Defence Force. His address was followed by South African Military Health Service presentations from Military Health Plan and Military Health Operations.
The visit was intended to uplift morale and show support to continue with official engagements. Maphaha said the visit was a gesture to remind those that they are soldiers first, before any other profession. ....
