Kanadas on viimase nädala jooksul maha põlenud neli põlisrahvaste maadel asunud katoliku kiriku hoonet.
Esmaspäeval, kui Kanadas tähistati põlisrahvaste päeva, hävisid Briti Columbia‎ provintsis tules kaks katoliku kirikut, vahendas
Laupäeva hommikul põlesid provintsis maha veel kaks kirikut. Tulekahjud Püha Anna kirikus ja Chopaka kirikus puhkesid umbes tunnise vahega.
Võimude sõnul hävisid põlisrahvaste kogukondades olnud kirikud täielikult ning tulekahjusid peetakse kahtlaseks.
Eelnevate ja nüüd kahe uue tulekahju uurimine käib, kedagi kinni peetud või süüdistust saanud ei ole, ütles politseiseersant Jason Bayda. ....
