“A Simple Favor” is about a widowed mommy blogger, Stephanie, who develops an unlikely friendship with a high class business woman, Emily, who disappears. Stephanie is dead set on finding her best friend and in doing so she develops a close relationship with Emily’s husband and son. When Emily turns up dead things really start to get crazy for Stephanie and she needs to figure out on her own exactly what’s going on.
This book has been compared to “Gone Girl” and rightly so in many ways…I actually read Gone Girl before this one and a smart person would have blogged the review for that one before this one, but hey, no one ever accused me of doing things that make sense. Both books are good, but I think I liked “Gone Girl” better. ....
